I interviewed through a placement drive at my college, and the flow started with an aptitude test.

Anyone who cleared that then went to the company’s office in a tech park for interviews, and there was a gender-based ordering on the day.

My technical round was short and easy, and then I hit a much longer HR interview that didn’t match the speed of the first step. In the HR conversation, I got hit with a stress-style test: I was asked to write programs while two interviewers kept discussing and probing other topics at the same time.

I didn’t get an offer. What lingered with me was how the HR stage felt both delayed and intense compared to the initial technical round.
