Incedo Software Engineer interview experience

The expectation was strict: I had to write clean, fully working code on paper with no compilation errors, and after about 45 minutes I turned it in.

Then the next round was basically a code walkthrough. They asked me to explain what I’d written, and they kept pushing for me to write code while they presented problem statements. The rejection threshold felt tied to syntax mistakes—if anything was off, I’d be rejected. It was a bit unsettling because the whole thing depended on paper handwriting rather than working in an editor, and it made the process feel like it was testing a narrow skill.
