Impetus Technologies Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Hard

Positive

IndorePosted Nov 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process started with a written exam that covered aptitude and technical topics, including DBMS questions.

There weren’t negative marks, which made the test feel less punishing if you missed something.

After the exam, I went through three technical rounds where the difficulty stepped up one level at a time. DBMS and data structures came up again as the interviews progressed, and each round required more solid knowledge than the last.

HR came last and felt relatively easy. I ended up with an offer, and overall it felt like a structured ramp-up, even though the technical expectations became heavier as I moved forward.
