Impetus Technologies Software Engineer interview experience

BengaluruPosted Oct 2015 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I started with a telephonic discussion with a panel, where they drilled into my background.

After that, I moved into an in-person interview with a development manager, and the focus was mostly core Java and Hibernate.

The interview itself felt manageable, but the salary negotiation with HR left a bad taste. They offered only a very small hike compared to what I had discussed at the beginning.

I didn’t feel like the process was respectful on the compensation side. The technical conversation went fine, but the final part made the whole experience feel less trustworthy.
