I couldn’t pull exact details about the interview flow, but I did remember that the role I was targeting would likely follow a pretty typical software-engineering structure: an HR screen first, then some form of technical evaluation, and later a conversation with engineering leadership.

I also expected the technical discussions to revolve around OOP and Java or JavaScript, plus general engineering alignment, because that pattern was consistent with how similar processes tend to run.

What stood out to me was the uncertainty: I didn’t have the concrete round-by-round details, so the best I could do was infer the shape of the process and what topics would probably come up. I ultimately didn’t get an offer, and my reflection was that going in with that much ambiguity made it harder to tell how to mentally prepare for the exact bar they were using.
