San Francisco, CAPosted Oct 2018 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview experience for the software engineer role centered on the basics of web development—HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

It wasn’t framed as something overly difficult, but it definitely required familiarity with those core concepts. The interviewers were nice, and I felt like the questions were mainly a check on whether I actually knew the fundamentals well.

Honestly, it felt like a straightforward evaluation rather than a hard technical barrier. I didn’t get an offer, but it was still a good experience in the sense that the expectations were clear and the tone stayed friendly.
