Illumio Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Hard

Positive

New York, NYPosted Oct 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The whole process felt flexible and genuinely pleasant to me.

Interviewers were friendly and social, and the vibe was relaxed enough that I didn’t feel like I was being interrogated.

Right as I arrived, they even offered me a seat immediately even though I felt nervous and confident at the same time. As the conversations went on, I enjoyed the experience more and more rather than getting more anxious.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the difficulty in my mind was moderate rather than brutal. My reflection was that the company culture and interview atmosphere made the process enjoyable even without a final outcome.
