San Diego, CAPosted Nov 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process leaned heavily on a pre-recorded HireVue style screen.

I’d log into the platform, answer questions that appeared on-screen, and record my responses with only limited time to think—there was a quick window to prepare and then a short live recorded segment to respond. The platform also had practice questions so I could get comfortable before the real prompts.

What made it feel intense was how unforgiving the format was. Some versions seemed closer to an automated screening where the system listens for the right signals, and there wasn’t much room to recover if I didn’t say what they were looking for quickly. In my case, I didn’t get to the later
