I interviewed for Software Engineer in an easy-to-moderate round with quick, fundamentals-style questions focused on CS concepts and practical comfort areas.

Technical interview (remote/in-person not specified) — I gave a self-introduction, then worked through binary search logic and explained operating system concepts like semaphores.
Java fundamentals — I covered basic OOP topics such as inheritance and abstraction.
Working style / logistics — I was asked whether I was comfortable working in shifts and if there were any specific technology domains I preferred. Outcome: No offer, and the takeaway was that strong command of core computer science concepts and practical availability mattered most.
