After an online assessment, I moved straight into an onsite interview in under a month.

The onsite felt like the final step, and it included meeting with team leads and then a technical interview. What surprised me was the attitude from the moment I arrived; it seemed like they’d already decided not to hire me while I was actively working through the problem.

The pace was fast and the sequence was simple, but the emotional tone was the opposite of reassuring. I didn’t get an offer.

Looking back, I remember how hard it was to stay confident and clear when the interview didn’t feel fully open to what I was doing in real time.
