I went through campus recruiting and ended up with two behavioral interviews.

There wasn’t a formal case interview with substantial math, and they even let me use a calculator. Even with the lighter technical load, the interviews felt more low-key than I expected—the interviewers were nice, but they seemed tired.

What I didn’t like was how unexcited the overall mood felt. They didn’t make the job sound particularly thrilling, and it made me question how much energy there really was behind the role.

I didn’t receive an offer. I still appreciated that they ran the interviews professionally, but the overall enthusiasm level was what dampened the experience for me.
