Hulu Software Engineer interview experience

I took an online coding challenge that took about an hour, and I got an email the same day saying they wanted to move forward. A week later I scheduled phone interviews, and the process followed a two-interview structure that covered coding, design, and architecture. The problems weren’t described as brutal, but they stressed basic data structures, how I approached solving, and computer fundamentals.

I also remember the recruiting pacing feeling very fast and clean—after those phone rounds, I went on to the onsite with the same general layout, but the interviews leaned more design-oriented.
