Los Angeles, CAPosted Jun 2011 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

Developers reached out to me for a phone interview and asked basic programming questions about the code samples they’d sent about fifteen minutes earlier.

The next phone interview was broader and focused more on web applications and related topics, still grounded in technical discussion.

The final step was an eight-hour coding challenge. Throughout, the employees gave off a strong energy about their jobs and seemed very well versed in programming, which made the experience feel serious but alive. It was a difficult-feeling process overall because the last round demanded sustained problem-solving rather than a quick screen.
