I interviewed for an Account Executive role and reached the final stage, but it ended abruptly after a silent panel with no feedback.

Final presentation — I spent hours building a presentation based on two sales scenarios.
Panel experience — The panel of three stayed quiet throughout and didn’t ask questions or provide comments while I presented.
Decision follow-up — The recruiter called the next day to say they wouldn’t proceed to offer stage and thanked me for my time. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer, and the takeaway was that even when early rounds go well, the final-stage feedback and engagement can make the difference.
