My recruiting process started right on campus with meetings with firm representatives and financial staff.

After that initial stage, there was another meeting with recruiting representatives from Houlihan, and then I traveled to Chicago on a scheduled day to join a large mass meeting with about thirty students from different universities.

That Chicago day had a layered structure: there were panel-style meetings where I spoke with groups of Houlihan financial staff, and then I broke off into smaller groups for more targeted conversations. Later, I was brought back for one-on-one discussions with Houlihan staff, and that day turned into a true marathon—I ended up with a dozen one-on-one interviews
