My interview process started with a phone screening, followed by a phone technical interview.

The screening itself was easy, but the technical interview turned out to be harder, with a clear emphasis on frontend-style questions.

I walked into the technical portion expecting it to track the screening, but it didn’t. The questions were more demanding, and the focus on frontend concepts made it feel narrower and more specialized than I’d anticipated.

I didn’t get an offer. Afterward, what stayed with me was how quickly the difficulty curve changed, and how the role seemed to care a lot about frontend competency specifically.
