After a recruiter-level chat, I ended up talking with someone at the same level who walked me through the role and then questioned me based on what I’d done before and how I could contribute to their needs.

The vibe was straightforward: the conversation stayed anchored in my background and how it mapped to the position, rather than trying to surprise me with obscure material.

That same style carried into later stages where I spoke with the hiring manager and also with someone from HR. Most of the questions centered on my competencies, what I was aiming for, and what motivated me, and we even touched on personality style. Overall, the process felt smooth and fairly practical, like they were trying to confirm my fit for the work and how I’d show up day to day.
