Hexagon Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

North Kingstown, RIPosted Aug 2012 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview experience was brief but stretched over stages: first a phone interview focused on my projects, and then an on-site interview.

The phone call set the tone by grounding the conversation in what I’d worked on, and once I got to the site, the focus shifted from discussing projects to going through the in-person interview.

It was hard to judge the full difficulty from what I experienced and what I was asked, but the overall structure felt simple—phone screen first, then on-site. I didn’t end up getting an offer, and looking back, the on-site step felt like the real decision point compared with the phone call.
