I went through a campus-style assessment center setup that mixed group work with a technical and a psychometric evaluation, and it felt like an entry-level filter.

Application + recruiter pipeline — After the standard application, I joined a process that led to a phone call.
Assessment centre — I attended an in-person assessment center with multiple parts: a group session with other interns, a technical component described as identifying coding languages, and a psychometric. Outcome: I didn’t report an offer, but the takeaway was to be comfortable in group dynamics and basic technical screen formats.
