My HPE CPP interview process felt like it barely resembled a technical evaluation.

It ran through three rounds: technical, managerial, and HR. In the technical round, I didn’t get real technical questions at all—mostly basic behavioral prompts and questions about what I did in the program.

The managerial round was closer to something substantial. The interviewer asked what excited me most and what I focused on, and I talked about large-scale systems. Then the questions turned into general scenario-style discussions about how I’d handle situations and how I approach problem-solving. Even so, it still didn’t feel like a deep, skills-based technical assessment.
