San Jose, CAPosted Feb 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I experienced a mid-difficulty sequence for Software Engineer centered on an OA plus targeted technical/behavioral discussion, with a clear emphasis on fundamentals and my project history.

Recruiter screen / setup — Context on my background leading into a short OA phase.
OA — One linked-list style programming question, plus multiple-choice and another programming question.
Final round (behavioral + technical with manager) — Behavioral questions tied to my projects, and technical focus that emphasized data structures (linked list) and broader networking/system-design basics.
Outcome: I didn’t get the offer; the takeaway is that DSA fundamentals plus project storytelling were key.
