I went through a more standard technical evaluation for Software Engineer, with moderate difficulty and a fairly typical sequence that mixed concept questions and coding/OA.

Recruiter screen — A brief 15-minute chat to cover my background and walk through my projects.
OA / coding round — HackerRank-style problems including linked list-style and LeetCode-like tasks.
Technical interview(s) — Questions across Linux and networking fundamentals plus basic Python coding and OOP concepts (inheritance/polymorphism/encapsulation), often tied back to backend/system-design fundamentals.
Outcome: I didn’t move forward (one round ended in a fail); the takeaway is that breadth across OS/networking/OOP plus a coding/OA component was central.
