HelloFresh Backend Engineer interview experience

During the call, the interviewer told me to ask questions at the beginning, and she said she would answer mine if I passed to the next stage.

I asked general interview questions, not anything confidential, but she came across as impatient and reluctant. She also felt my answers were too shallow, and honestly I didn’t think I was going to pass the stage anyway. The whole interaction felt like it lacked flexibility, so even if I’d cleared it, I didn’t want to keep going.
