Headway (NY) Software Engineer interview experience

The recruiter’s communication felt off, almost like they weren’t really in control of the process. The biggest issue was timing—I waited too long for any follow-up and eventually decided it wasn’t worth continuing. I dropped out of the interview to focus on other opportunities.

My impression was that the whole thing wasn’t professional, and that left a bad taste more than anything else. I never ended up receiving an offer, and I honestly wouldn’t have stayed with it even if I’d been interested in the role, just because the process dragged and felt mishandled.
