New DelhiPosted Feb 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for a Software Engineer role with a difficult hackathon-style evaluation focused on practical ML, and the whole process emphasized end-to-end execution.

Hackathon / ML problem-solving — I worked on a real-world problem within a time limit, covering data preprocessing, feature engineering, model selection, training, and evaluation. Interviewers reviewed my code quality, logic, algorithm choices, and how clearly I explained assumptions and results. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the takeaway is that demonstrating a complete ML approach and clearly justifying decisions mattered most.
