I went through a harder, two-stage technical path for the Software Engineer role, with scenario and architecture-style questioning before an HR step.

Technical interview 1 — medium-to-difficult technical coverage across core Java, Spring framework topics, and SQL.
Technical interview 2 — the tougher stage, with scenario-based questions plus architecture-oriented questions to test how I’d design solutions.
HR round — a final HR conversation after the two technical rounds. Outcome: No offer; the takeaway is that beyond fundamentals, scenario handling and architectural thinking were key differentiators.
