I went through two technical rounds for the Software Engineer role and felt it was going well, but I was rejected before the next stage after a long wait.

Round 1: Technical interview — second-stage technical conversation where I felt the interview went well.
Round 2: Technical interview — a second technical round that also went well.
HR decision / follow-up — HR closed the process by saying I was not shortlisted for the next round, and when I asked for the reason I didn’t get a response. Outcome: Not shortlisted after the technical rounds; the takeaway is that interview performance didn’t translate into closure, and feedback was missing.
