I did a very short HCL Tech Software Engineer interview that felt almost non-technical overall, with a quick technical check followed by an HR conversation.

Technical mini-round (5–10 minutes) — I was asked basic questions like how to form a number, plus a few common background-style questions.
HR round (non-elimination) — I discussed my project, strengths/weaknesses, and even a question about the current CEO, along with my view of the role.
Outcome / process feel — No offer was mentioned, but the process felt low-pressure and clearly centered on general communication and basic familiarity.
