HCL Software Engineer interview experience

The interviewer kept steering the conversation toward coding-style problem solving, with a focus on JavaScript and React, and I also had to walk through details from my past experience using the explanations I’d already described.

Overall it landed in the average range for difficulty—there was nothing overly mysterious, but the expectation was that I could connect what I’d built before with how I’d approach similar code now. I left feeling like the process was clear and structured, and I understood the areas where my depth needed to be tighter.
