I had a difficult interview focused on networking concepts and the associated issues.

The questions were mainly centered on BGP and OSPF, and I also got pulled into Software Defined Networking concepts that connected into cloud computing. They explored how ideas map into IaaS and PaaS, and how you’d deploy networking solutions in the cloud.

The whole conversation felt like it expected real depth, especially when it shifted from routing protocols into broader architectural thinking. I didn’t get an offer, and it matched the difficult label in how demanding the topics were.
