Havells India Software Engineer interview experience

The part that surprised me came later when the compensation details didn’t match what I had been told in the job brochure—there was a different CTC figure mentioned up front.

When I received the offer details, the CTC included a retention bonus that would be paid only once after about two years. That meant the real yearly salary was lower than the earlier brochure numbers suggested.

I didn’t end up taking the offer, and honestly the confusion around how the retention bonus affected the yearly pay changed how I felt about the final package.
