HARMAN Software Engineer interview experience

Negative

I had a rough experience from the start, and the interview style made it worse.

One interviewer came across as rude and unfriendly, and I felt like the session was conducted in a harsh, rushed manner. Questions were fired one after another with very little time to think, and it felt like there was no patience for me to frame a better answer.

In another interview with a similar vibe, the interviewer also seemed unwilling to pause and engage. It felt like reading from a list—no listening to explanations, and constant interruptions whenever I tried to respond fully. Both times, the environment made it hard to show my reasoning rather than just recite.
