HARMAN Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Negative

GermanyPosted Jul 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I went into the process with high hopes, but it felt shady from the way it was coordinated.

Different talent acquisition groups seemed to be involved at different stages from India, and then a third-party agency came in midstream to handle communications. The offer I received was far below my current salary, which made the whole thing feel like a mismatch.

Even though there was an offer, it didn’t align with what I was expecting financially, and that turned the process into something I felt I shouldn’t have spent time on. My reflection was blunt: once the communication and compensation direction went off-track, the rest of the pipeline felt pointless.
