HARMAN Software Engineer interview experience

I went in for a Java Developer interview that started off mostly smooth, aside from the interviewer running about 40 minutes late.

Work-from-home circumstances were understandable, so I didn’t immediately take it personally, but what really hurt the experience was the lack of any formal follow-up from HR.

The interview itself felt like a medium-level discussion, and I walked away feeling reasonably okay about how it went. Still, after the call, I didn’t receive a clear response or update, and I was left hanging without feedback.

By the time I reflected on the full process, the timeline and silence from HR were what made it feel bad rather than the interview questions. The delay in communication overrode everything else.
