San Francisco, CAPosted Dec 2018 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had a couple of technical phone screens first—both were algorithmic and fairly straightforward in focus—and the whole early stage felt smooth.

After those, I moved into an onsite at the office that mixed a project/presentation component with additional coding and system design interviews. The day flowed well and everyone I interacted with was welcoming.

At the onsite, the project portion stood out because it came with a presentation: I had to work through something tangible and then explain it to the group. Then I went into more traditional interview formats, including algorithm work and system design, so I got a pretty balanced view of how I handle both implementation and higher-level architecture.

It honestly felt a bit long
