I interviewed for a Software Engineer role at Handshake and found it notably difficult, with a longer remote onsite that emphasized doing well across multiple formats, including system design.

Recruiter screen — a phone screen to align on interest and logistics.
Live coding challenge — a live coding session (language choice mentioned in one process).
Remote onsite (4 hours) — included live paired coding on basic web-app style tasks, a system design round with a detailed primer and an expectation that I cover certain checklist items, and then a hiring manager chat.
Additional high-signal rounds (same difficulty vibe) — another process also combined system design, live coding, pair programming, and behavioral, with interviewers actively helping me regain focus
