H&R Block Software Engineer interview experience

I remember being asked questions that nudged me to explain how I would handle different moments, and a big part of it was understanding how the company’s behaviors show up in day-to-day work.

The recruiters felt genuinely nice and supportive, and the tone was more encouraging than exam-like. The process didn’t come across as harsh at all—I left feeling like the main goal was to see whether I was real about my answers instead of trying to present a polished, fake version of myself.
