My interview process dragged on way longer than I expected for a part-time seasonal role.

It took close to three months just to get a call back, and by the time I finally got in front of the interviewer, the experience felt off—like the person leading the discussion didn’t fully know what they were talking about.

The conversation itself didn’t give me the confidence I usually look for in a screening, especially because I was expecting clearer details about next steps and what they were really evaluating. Instead, the whole flow felt disorganized and drawn out.

I didn’t end up with an offer, and the main thing I remember was how long it took without much signal along the way.
