My process started with a phone round, then moved into virtual onsite rounds that included a coding challenge plus a behavioral interview.

Right away, the tone didn’t sit right with me: at multiple points the interviewers felt unprofessional and unwilling to clarify what was being asked or provide examples when I needed them.

During the technical conversations, the questions and expectations weren’t communicated in a patient way. One interviewer even came across as rude and distracted, and that energy completely threw me off while I was trying to focus on solving.

Even with all the moving parts—phone screen, coding, and behavioral—I never felt like I was being given a fair shot to understand the tasks and show what I could do.
