I ran into a process that felt like it started seriously, then got derailed by things outside the actual interviewing.

An HR phone screen came first, followed by a video conference that mixed behavioral and teamwork discussion with a technical component. After that, I had an onsite that was more than just interviews—it included an informational session and even food, plus a bowling event the night before.

Despite the “college recruits” vibe and the extra event, the actual questions were still the core of the day: two technical interviews in addition to the behavioral elements. The onsite felt busy and tightly scheduled, and I left feeling like I’d shown enough of my work style and technical thinking.
