New York, NYPosted May 2018 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

After a recruiter setup, I moved into a fairly quick technical path: a phone conversation first, then a deeper technical screen where I wrote code while talking through my thought process.

The next step was an NYC onsite that felt structured and timed, like everything had been planned down to the hour.

On the onsite, I went through a mix of system-level and implementation work. I remember system architecture and REST service design being a big part of it, plus another round with coding problems that I had to work through on-site. The technical conversations pushed beyond just arriving at an answer; the interviewers wanted me to reason carefully and improve the solution as we went. There was also time for a softer discussion about career goals and how I work.

Overall it didn’t
