I went through a fairly structured multi-round process: a data-structures round, then a machine coding round, followed by a system design discussion and finally a hiring manager round.

Each step took time, and by the time I reached the end, it felt like a complete effort.

What frustrated me was the lack of clarity after putting in all that work. After finishing all rounds, I was told they couldn’t move forward, without meaningful feedback. The overall vibe was that the process consumed a lot of time and energy, then ended abruptly.

I didn’t get an offer, and honestly what stuck wasn’t just the rejection—it was how little explanation I received for why the final decision went against me.
