A recruiter reached out and called me for a phone screening, which led to a technical video interview with a software engineer from the team.

After that, I did another live video session on Zoom with the team lead or director of engineering. The whole flow felt tightly sequenced, like they were moving quickly from screening to deeper technical discussion.

The technical parts were the main event, and there wasn’t much time spent on general background beyond what they needed to evaluate for the role. By the end of the process, I felt like I had given a focused attempt across both engineering screens, even though I didn’t end up receiving an offer.
