Grainger Account Executive interview experience

I interviewed for the Account Executive role and the hardest part wasn’t the questions—it was feeling misled or stalled.

HR/manager outreach attempt(s) — I either had recruiter scheduling issues (a missed call with no apology) or began with standard screening.
In-person manager rounds — I went through interviews that included a district manager and/or panel elements.
Lack of follow-through — In my experience, I didn’t receive closure after multiple steps, including cases where I was “not selected” for one path but never heard anything about another. Outcome: I didn’t move forward; the takeaway was that communication and compensation transparency issues materially impacted the process.
