I went through a tougher, longer account interview process where communication happened in between rounds and the questions were meant to reveal how I think under pressure.

Agency recruiter contact — I was pulled into the process through an outside sourcing partner and then reached by a district manager about fit and logistics (including living-location constraints in one case).
Hiring manager screening / first formal interview — I had a recruiter-driven conversation that felt more positive and conversational than expected.
Panel interviews via video — I faced a more intimidating multi-interviewer setup where one person would lead my answers and others would follow up with requests for elaboration or specific probing.
