I went through a multi-step, STAR-focused process that felt tough and methodical, with several rounds spanning about a week or two.

Application + recruiter call — I filled out the online application, then a recruiter called to describe the role and ask a few background questions.
Intro call + prep for next round — A short phone interview that segued into preparation for a further phone interview.
Personality assessment — An online personality test that felt tricky; I had to be consistent with my answers.
STAR method phone interview — Behavioral questions built around situation, task, action, and result.
On-site interview — More STAR behavioral questions in person.
