I had a medium coding round where optimization became the focus, and the evaluation hinged on time management and completing multiple parts of the task.

Technical coding interview — I solved a medium LeetCode-style problem quickly, but the interviewer pushed me to optimize further toward constant-time traversal in a more mathematical way.
Follow-up issue — When I didn’t attempt what was implied to be a second question, the feedback was that I spent too long on the first part. Outcome: No offer; the takeaway was that interviewers may expect you to manage time for multiple objectives, not just produce an optimized first answer.
