Sunnyvale, CAPosted May 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My recruiter outreach started in mid-January after I was reached out to through a staffing channel, and then by late January a Google recruiter contacted me directly.

Between February 17 and February 2?—actually the window stretched through that period—I went through two interviews: one behavioral set of questions with “normal star stories” and a separate DSA round. The feedback afterward sounded very positive.

In March, I moved into the in-person coding rounds at the Sunnyvale campus. One of the questions was graph-related, and the last coding round focused on a tree/array-structure style problem. I needed a couple of hints to get to the optimal solution, and by the time I wrote it out, there wasn’t time left for any follow-up discussion.
