Google Software Engineer interview experience

• Online coding / DSA screen — I worked through medium DSA questions and was asked to explain them in detail rather than just provide an answer.
• Additional DSA-heavy rounds — I was told to expect roughly 4–6 rounds overall, with the later rounds also heavily focused on advanced DSA topics.
• Hard topics (graphs/DP/advanced) — One round emphasized graphs and DP/advanced problem areas.

Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; even when the problems matched familiar patterns, the required level of explanation and depth made it hard.
