Google Software Engineer interview experience

Positive

Gurgaon, HaryanaPosted Apr 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

It was a good experience overall, and I actually enjoyed the interviews more than I expected.

The questions included some basics along with DSA-friendly problems, and I felt like the interviewer was genuinely trying to engage rather than just test.

I also got asked something about AI and its double-down approach, and that curiosity kept the session interesting for me. I ended up with an offer, and looking back the main thing I remember is that the process felt interactive and enjoyable, not just stressful.
